Belief in conspiracy theories is no different than belief in space aliens and God.
It is predicated in a deep seated FEAR of random chance.
No one likes the idea of unpredictability.
We want desperately to believe that things happen for a REASON... that somewhere, someone or something is in control...
It is even more comforting to believe in a malevolent cabal of controlling men, than to accept that there is no hand on the tiller.
We would rather believe in an all powerful God who we just might be able to talk into helping us... than to accept that the universe is indifferent to our fate.
But its all nonsense.
Its not that there are no conspiracies.... its just that they become increasingly impossible as they grow in scope...
Having more than a handful of people involved makes all conspiracies come to light in one way or another...
The OP rambling require an insupportable belief in human competence and ability to control the actions of others...
The most powerful men in the world can not even control the actions of their wives.... much less the actions and ideology of hundreds or thousands of others...
The world REALLY is just as haphazard and capricious as it appears.
DO not hunt for some nefarious covert scheme by the Bush administration...
their conspiracy is lying plainly visible in open view... they are STEALING money from US taxpayers to funnel into the bank accounts of their corporate supporters.
Halliburton took their 20 billion dollars and beat it out of town to Dubai.
NONE of it is hidden...
Don't get distracted by idiotic elaborations when the mugger is standing right there pointing a gun at you. |
