My nanny Mrs. Fudge was from Yorkshire. She was all of five feet tall and had the sense of humor of a sailor (along with the mouth of one).

Oh wow! Last time I saw a rag and bone man with a horse and cart in London was at least 15 years ago, and it seemed anachronistic even then. But nostalgic.

It may even be the future of transport if they don't sort out the oil supply/global warming thing out. Along with cycling. Muscle power - the most efficent source of motion on the planet.
