I used to wear Calvin Kleins awhile back. They made a nice (and relatively costly at the time) brief with a wide band at the waist and it consisted of a kind of stretchy cotton fabric. Very soft, comfy, and held everything together nicely (or at least until the elasticity wore out). They dropped the line sometime ago.
