There are several places on the web to buy them if you can’t get them locally. I prefer foley caths myself but some prefer intermittent and others the external condom type. All three types are easy to use but if you don’t know someone who uses them or a nurse to teach you proper techniques do your homework and absolutely learn how first. If you go with internal type, most typically start out with a 16 or 18fr size and then increase in size until you find the one that fits you best. Larger size internal catheters massage the prostate and usually end up causing rather large amounts of prostate fluid oozing out as well.
