| | | What is Your Ideal Penis? junk792: Please answer honestly and seriously - if you could have any size penis you'd want, which would it be? The sizes in parentheses are an example of the size it could be around that value. The first number is length and the second is circumference.
Keep in mind you'd need to live with that penis every day so please don't automatically jump to just the biggest one in the world :)
Thanks! And feel free to post your comments or reasons for picking a particular size!

edit: nevermind that. 7.75x5.75 to 8x6 is my goal :P

Why? Because, otherwise I wouldn't have BRR as my tag line :)

If the avg is 6" and there are men with 11"+ That mean there are men with 1" or 2" penis'. wow...

| | | mindseye: Indeed, but they're equally rare in real life (if you believe that penis size is approximately normally distributed).
However, there aren't as many people who chime in to 'brag' about their 1-2" penises. So on the internet, 11" penises certainly seem much more common than 2" penises.
I've always taken comfort in the fact that if you include *all* living creatures -- including the billions and billions of insects on the planet, the "average" penis size is just a tiny fraction of a centimeter. Looking at it that way, I'm huge!!

Well I expected that no one would want a small penis so it seemed unnecessary to include lots of choice for "tiny" "really tiny" etc... No one has chosen anything even average yet.
There are men with very small penises, even less then 1", I believe the condition is called micropenitia or something...
But the distribution isn't perfectly symetrical centered around 6" - by which I mean if there's 0.1% of guys with 11" penises (5" above normal) that there aren't necessarily 0.1% of men with 1" penises (5" below normal). So it's normal that it (the distribution) stretches out (no pun intended) at very long length with very few individuals at 13"+.

| | | Ineligible: Generally, the distribution for biological measurements is more symmetric as a logarithm. That would mean the proportion of people who are twice average would be about the same as those who are half average. Similarly, the proportions would be the same for three times average and a third average, and for 1 1/2 times average and 2/3 average.
But even this is generally only a good approximation from small deviations from the mean, within the common range. Uncommon measurements usually mean special causes (micropenis is certainly a special cause), and there's then no reason to expect any symmetry.

| | | ruscular: I have a 6X8.5 inch and my ideal size would be to be a little longer with additional 2 inch, but there wasn't a poll for that selection. Living with a big girth all most of my life, a 6 inch girth seem too skinny. I seen enough porno with a super long penus and not being able to get it all in. I know the difference of partial entry and full entry, and to me, once I am able to get it all the way in, Im in the height of estacy, with a tight snug fit.
So, for the ladies, what is the ideal girth? Is it really around 6 inch or so? Is 8.5 girth too frigthening, or too much like delivering a whale?

| | | cypher13: This may be the first time the lognormal distribution has ever come up in a discussion group such as this!
On my part, I do not know that it has ever been demonstrated, let alone proven, that human penis size follows a normal distribution of any kind.
Some years ago, Playboy published a supposedly accurate survey of penis lengths, showing that 2 percent of men were 8 inches or above and 0.1 percent were 9 inches or above. Well, those figures correspond exactly to a mean of 6 inches and a standard deviation of one inch, making eight and nine inches, respectively, two and three standard deviations above the mean. Well, if that be the case, a man with a 14 inch penis - and I have seen two in my lifetime - would be eight standard deviations above the mean or one in several hundred trillion, I should think. There have been "only" about 80 billion people on this earth since the very beginning of the species and about half of them were (or are) absent penises. So, if such animals exist, they exist outside the realm of statistics.
I seem to think it has since been debunked that mean penis length is six inches and somehow it strikes me as very unlikely that Nature would make the standard deviation exactly one inch. I tend to think the curve is leptokurtic, but when you start talking about extremely large penises (say 12+ inches in length) the sample is so small that it becomes statistically meaningless, i.e., beyond meaningful statistical analysis.
Just one man's visceral impression of things....

Why, because it's an even number? 1 inch is 2.54 cm is 25.4 mm. So it's not a particularly special number. And where did you see that mean penis length isn't 6 inches (or around that value). Quote: |

| Don't know what leptokurtic means but I agree that for large variations from the norm like that regular statistics break down. | | | |
