I was born in Los Angeles in the early 1950's. At the time it was the established norm if you were WASP to get your weenie whacked.

As a teenager I asked my Mother about it. Her statement was that she and my Father had intended to leave me intact, but that she had endured a difficult delivery of me and spent some time in the Hospital after delivery had taken place.

The doctor walked into her room and said "we circ'd him this morning". My parrents were not even asked. They had intended to leave me intact.

Though I don't see anything wrong with being cut, I think that basically it is both a personal and medical decision based on need or reason. If you have problems with the presence of a foreskin, then out come the "scissors". but....... "If it ain't broke!.....Don't fix it!"
