Razor Review

rainfletcher: Like many guys on this board, I shave my sack, perineum (sp?), dick and lower abdomen. But I'm always looking for new and improved ways to groom myself.

So, I was way stoked when I kept seeing all these 'Quattro' adds - you know, the one with '4' blades?

It sucks. Don't waste your $$. The Mach 3 is STILL the best out there (and I can now say I've tried everything)

It nicked me, didn't shave as close, and was much harder to control. It might be better for those of you who shave your chest or stomachs, as it'd be a little easier over large areas. But it was really difficult to control around the tight corners. Also, the extra blades made it impossible to shave over my balls without nicks, and I've NEVER nicked my balls.

Thanks for the review of the Quattro razor. I almost bought one the other day, but then at the last minute, decided to just get some more Mach3 blades instead.
Looks like I made the right decision.

Mach 3 was the best ever made.

Then Mach 3 Turbo blew it out of the water.

What's next? Warp 3?

If we're shaving at warp speed, god help us when we are taking care of more "delicate" areas. Sure I've got dick and balls to spare, but I'd rather not lose them in a shaving accident!

BrownEyedGuy: I have my balls, shaft, and perineum waxed about once a month. It's actually much better and longer lasting than shaving. I go to a salon for men. The guy who does it is gay and very cool.

I also think the Mach 3 Turbo is the last word in razors. I shave everything Rain mentioned in the shower with, against and across the grain. It is so smooth you almost have to look to see if it is upside down. I run the razor across my nipples too. Never a nick or burn. The Mach 3 also rinses clean so easily. A blade easily lasts me a month even though I shave my mug daily and body every 3 days. My wife loves to handle my cleanly shaved genitalia and nipples. Never gets a 'flossing' from hairs while nibbling and biting my nips or sucking my cock or balls. Good times. :P

So let me suggest this: Another area I shave and recommend that you do too is from your perineum up between your cheeks next to your anus. Seriously. (Of course, I only use the Gillette Mach 3 Turbo). If you use butt plugs or prostate massagers, you won't believe how much easier and cleaner it is when you insert or remove them. Never a problem with itching as it grows out either and I only need to shave between my cheeks about once a month. Clean-up after a dump is so quick and easy. No more 'dingleberries' tangled in hairs. Works for me, so don't knock it if you haven't tried it. ;) Try it; you'll love it. Guaranteed, or double your hair back...;D

mhk: Hey all. I don't post much, but I had to on this. I must agree, strongly, the Mach 3 turbo is the best razor out there. For your face or anywhere else. Great investment. If you don't have one-- get one.
