Speaking of double flaps and closures, someone passed along a website selling kilts.

Lederhosen? Aber nein, Gott in Himmel! If you look like you might be of German extraction, Lederhosen are okay at Oktoberfest or some similar function. Wearing such a national costume around town habitually might get you dubbed 'Alpine idiot'! And all men? Lederhosen on a Cuban like me would look as ridiculous as Calypso drag on a German! Considering Dee's ethnic and racial background, I somehow suspect that they would look rather unauthentic on him as well. (Ever see an Arab in a kilt?)

That reminds me of what one of my friends said when she saw this very pale, very hairy guy in a loincloth: "People should have licenses to wear those things."

I did a little waitering over the christmas period for my mum, I was very aware that I had my crotch in their face but putting their meal on the table, and I never knew what to say when the person sitting at the table said "Mmmm, tastey!", then I realised it was the meal they were talking about... or were they?

n2lederhosen: Quoted from my message above: Lederhosen ... I would suggest all men and particularly "big" men should try wearing them - even if only around the house or around town.

With the above statement, I was only trying to convince men to try them to see how comfortable they are, even if they only wear them to lounge around home. I was giving the "big" men that have a hard time finding comfortable attire an alternative piece of clothing to accommodate them.

I concede some of you like DoubleMeatWhopper and Dee might not look perfect in lederhosen, but you could still enjoy them in private! Alone or playing with a partner(s).

National costume? Levis are a national costume here. And worn over there too. What is wrong wearing lederhosen over here? The only thing I see is mens own personal fears. Silly huh?

What I am trying to say is if only more men here weren't afraid of labels and had the balls to wear them.....(not fearing things like the labels mentioned and wasting their lives worrying about little things like that) lederhosen could be a very useful and comfortable garment for all men and particularly for the "big" men.

National costume? Lederhosen are still worn everyday by many men in Germany while working out in the fields and at other jobs, after work, out at clubs and yes on 'special' traditional events (like Oktoberfest). Just like we wear Levis.

Yes, I am of German/Swiss ancestory. But I live in WI and yes, like I said, I do wear mine alot. Your fear of being dubbed 'Alpine idiot' or the like is completely unfounded. I found people really don't care but are very interested when seeing them. I have had people strike up some interesting conversations about them. And yes I can attribute to scoring many times because I was wearing them - remember that flap! ;D

n2lederhosen: NOPE bilbobagginsx, absolutely not!

I am just trying to help out big men with their big problem of being comfortable. And looking good at the same time.

But I should be a lederhosen salesman perhaps. It would be so kewl watching men squeeze into pair after pair all day long. ::) Especially since with lederhosen you have to buy them tighter than you want them to be because they will stretch over time in all the needed places and shape themselves to you, conforming to all your curves.

brad2002: Somehow I just cant see guys walking around town, or the back yard, wearing lederhosen any more than I would want to see us in kilts (I'm Scottish). If I wore them, i don' think I could resist the urge to break out into song.

High on a hill was a lonely goatherd, lay-e-o-o-lay-e-o-o-lay-e-o!

brad2002: While I am at it, I may as well state that the comment that showing your bulge will get you bigger tips and respect is absurb. You will gain bigger tips, and more respect generally, by being polite, pleasant and professional.

I have to agree with bradlee here; a bulge only gets you bigger tips if you're a stripper. Or a prostitute, but then the pimp takes it away. LOL

n2lederhosen: I have been away recently. When I returned I found I had personal messages from 3 guys with questions (some general and some personal ;) ) about Lederhosen. Be patient, I will get a response to your questions.

With the somewhat negative comments about wearing lederhosen :( , rest assured I will not reveal your identities to the group. Your interests will be kept between you and me. 8)

Should any one else have an interest in them or any questions you don't want to ask in the forum :-X , feel free to contact me via the forum private message or email - addy available in my profile.
