I see your point, but to me there's a qualitative difference between dyeing your hair and undergoing major surgery to permanently increase the size of your breasts. It's sort of like saying, "I don't get why people don't like tattoos -- I've drawn on my skin before with a pen, so what's the big deal?"
But to each their own, etc.
