I sometimes have the same problem.
One doesn't want to sound intolerant, but communication is everything when you're making such a call.
Several times, I have just found the accent incomprehensible.
I've been patient and allowed the person to do their best, but you're usually already quite frustrated when you make such a call.
The incomprehensibility is no help.
I think the Indian call centers need to weed out some of the heavier accents.
Just for practicality.
