As it turns out....when I telephoned to make that colossal concession, and ask the parents, my sister got to the phone first and offered me her car in exchange for payments since she doesn't work and really has nowhere to drive anyway. So it is done. Ta-DAH! And since this "fabulous" new job offers no vaction for a year, I am legitamately out of family Christmas. Woo-hoo!
So the fam. is scrambling to arrange weekend car drop off rendesvous and work in a "family Christmas" this weekend. The engine blowing up on my car turned out to be a great day! lol.
