hey, here's my '60's faves. Wish I were alive during the early "60's folk & mid-'60's Haight-Ashbury scenes. I could dig it.

San Francisco - Scott MacKenzie:

Great idea for a thread offroad....we should keep this one running...

For your musical pleasure.....

Dusty Springfield - Spooky 1970

Blur - Coffee and TV (cutest vid eh!)

Orange Lemon - Dreams of Santa Ana (used to LOVE getting down to this back in the 80's at the raves, and boy, did we ever get DOWN back then!)

Mr Scruff (Featuring my good mate Alice Russell) - Music Brings Me Up

Brandon Cooke ft Roxanne Shante - Sharp as the Knife

(heard this at the first outdoor rave I went to aged 17 in '87, there were 10,000 and more in a field, we just danced for 24 hours, back then you could hear the raves 4-5 miles away)

Lamb - Gabriel

A Guy Called Gerald - Voodoo Ray (another from my youth, loved it, and still sounds fresh fresh today).

Sandrine Piau - Willow Song (Beautiful)

The Smiths - Cemetery Gates (I was a huge Smiths fan as a kid, NHS specs, quiff, gladioli, bring it on!!)

Bah Samba (ft Alice Russell and the Fatback Band) - Let the Drums Speak
(Alice kicks ass again, the girl has VOICE!)

Morrissey - Suedehead
(Morrissey after he left The Smiths...I was obsessed!)

Hope anyone who bothers to listen to them all enjoys them!

One of my best friends' mum once "got a lift" in their car to a party. When she told me that I just gave her the "yeah you did" look Needless to say I had infinitely more respect for her after that!
