Pff not cool: "Monkey" - George Michael (August 25th, 1988)

I rather have "Disturbia" - Rihanna (Auhust 25th, 2008) but then I wouldn't be able to join here :p )

Behind someone his actions there is always a reason, but you have to look for their reason and not yours.

I'm old!

"He's So Fine" by the Chiffons (April 17, 1963)

I don't like that song all that much. However, the song that was #1 two years later, "I'm Telling You Now" by Freddie & the Dreamers... I love that song! I'm just glad I wasn't born April 17, 1968 - the #1 song THEN was "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro! YECCH! I'd take "He's So Fine" over THAT one!

I love that that chart goes all the way back to the 1890s, too! I'm fascinated by stuff like that. I want to hear those songs from the 1890s and all, too! I actually HAVE heard one of them!

I hate my song...I've never even heard of my song until just now, I'm not posting it I hate it so much! In the words of Madeline Kahn in Clue. "I hate it sooooooo much. Flames, flames on the side of my face" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PMGBucNONs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzEFAfh6WdU
But the video was soooooo bad it was worth sharing

It takes a long time to become a person. Longer than I thought. I am grateful for my past; because it has given me the present. I want to do well by the future.

Well this is crappy enough- The Three Bells by The Browns:
YouTube - The Browns - The Three Bells

There's a village
Hiidden deep in the valley
Among the pine trees half forlorn
And there on a sunny morning
Little Jimmy Brown was born.

(boom, boom, boom, boom...)

All the chapel bells are ringing
In the little valley town
And the song that they were singing
Was for baby Jimmy Brown
And the little congregation
Prayed for guidance from above:
"Lead us not into temptation
Bless this hour of meditation
Guide him with eternal love"

There's a village
Hidden deep in the valley
Beneath the mountains high above
And there, 20 years thereafter,
Jimmy was to meet his love.

(boom, boom, boom, boom...)

All the chapel bells were ringing
'Twas a great day in his life
'Cause the songs that they were singing
Were for Jimmy and his wife
Then the little congregation
Prayed for guidance from above:
"Lead us not into temptation
Bless, O Lord, this celebration
May their lives be filled with love."

From the village,
Hidden deep in the valley
One rainy morning dark and gray
A soul winged its way to heaven.
Jimmy Brown had passed away.

(boom, boom, boom, boom....)

Just a lonely bell was ringing
In the little valley town
'Twas farewell that it was singing
To our good old Jimmy Brown
(Little Jimmy Brown)
And the little congregation
Prayed for guidance from above:
"Lead us not into temptation
May his soul find this salvation
Of a great eternal love"

"How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" by The Bee Gees Aug, 1971

Why couldn't I born later and have the Al Green Version >.<

I can think of younger days when living for my life
Was everything a man could want to do.
I could never see tomorrow, but I was never told about the sorrow.

And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend a this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again.

I can still feel the breeze that rustles through the trees
And misty memories of days gone by
We could never see tomorrow, noone said a word about the sorrow.

And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again.

“If you're losing your soul and you know it, then you've still got a soul left to lose” - Charles Bukowski
