I think its the same definition as anywhere else in the english language world: "1. adverb, 'gay' falling in love and wanting to have sex with a person of the same sex. 2. adverb, 'gay' beeing happy or glad"

im sorry, im icelandic and stupid :P but adverbs and adjectives are two things relatively easy to mix up....

No worries, English is a trippy language anyway, especially if it isn't your native language. It doesn't help that our language is one of the most idiomatic ones -- i.e. "stick a fork in me, I'm done" literally doesn't mean that when I'm finished with a task, you should poke me with a kitchen utensil.

Adjectives are words that describe nouns and pronouns (i.e. yellow sun, tranquil sea). Adverbs are words that describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs (i.e. silently stalking, patiently waiting).

Ineligible: I don't know any Icelandic, but in some Germanic languages adjectives and adverbs are identical in form, so the distinction would not be a very familiar one.
