A few grey pubes and eyelashes have recently sprung up out of no where.

I'm older than some of my doctors.

The thing I hate most about aging is the small concessions forced upon you by physical decline.

The Knees, the back the feet... begin to make their discontent known..

When I was 30 I wasn't even AWARE of my body... didn't even notice I had a stomach...

Now, each part seems to clamor for more than its fair share of attention.

Age is a shipwreck.

Still and all... life has its flavor and, as time grows short.... each moment grows more precious.

well grey hairs isn't always due to aging :) soooo yah... I had grey hair at 15 and didnt even go thru puberty till I was 22. Honestly, I'm happier now in my 30's, built better, and feel a sense of acomplishment that I didnt have in my 20's. I really don't think you should worry about aging, more so worry about how to do it the best way possible to be happier, healthier and with less stress then you have now. :)

Having the hindsight to see how you screwed up in the past--blowing off relationships, not taking a job that you were being recruited for that would have made you rich, not travelling the world while i had the chance off the top of my head.

Oh, and back and knee pain right after that. In general i don't really worry about aging though.

30 is scary right! I'm not to far away from it either

But i think it isnt the physical stuff that worries me but the fact that there are already so many things i wish i had of done, things i had seen myself accomplish by this age and still they are nowhere in sight. It makes me think how many more unachieved goals and aspirations there will be when im 40, 50, 60 and so forth

When I was young days lasted forever while now … weeks, month’s even years fly by

Seeing all of the cool new technologies on the distant horizon knowing I will miss them, unless one preserves me of course!

What I hate more than anything about getting older has nothing to do with looks, if you are not comfortable in your skin (like oh I have a grey hair on my head) how do you expect others to be comfortable with you - my biggest hate is people that judge you for being older, without even chatting, one of my friends on here is alot younger than me and yet we have a good friendship, he is the only one I know who doesn't judge on anything, learn to accept that you are getting older and your temple changes enjoy it and others will love you too!

The fact that I've soon have to look out for a job, living on my own, starting a new life and the fact that I didn't had the chance to be a young adult the last two years and enjoy life like we young people have to do.

pain from all the sports injuries and all the current debilitating diagnosis I have now. It's very frustrating that I can't do things with my son like every one else. I am use to being hands on and now I am forced to basically live indoors most of the time.

Physically, the worst thing so far has been a touch of Peyronie's disease. It did freak me for a while but I got over it when I realised no-one else seemed to care.

Apart from that, it's all been fine so far (54 now). There was some backache and the odd joint pain in my late forties, but that's no longer a problem since I started exercising at the gym.

Sex is better than in my youth. I know what I like now, lol, and I seem to have more pulling-power now than I did when 24 or 34. That's more to do with self-confidence than how I actually look, I think.

The worst thing overall though, has been losing friends. Throughout the 90s there were so many aids funerals. My closest friends in my twenties and thirties tended to be older than me, but now I'm 10 - 14 years older than they ever got to be. This century, though, it's been more "usual" causes - heart attacks and cancer, etc. Which makes me appreciate what I've got.

As the wrinkly old man replied when asked by a silly young person "What's it like to be so old?" - It's better than the alternative!
