English Bulldogs just have so much character & are hilarious. Huskies are beautiful to look at. Labradors & Golden retrievers are intelligent, loyal & lovable. I just dont like those snappy little bitchdogs.
First of all I love the "soft" look of hunting dogs.
Second, owners of hunting dogs will tell you that if you've ever owned one that you also keep as a pet (i.e., family member vs. kept outside) it's amazing how you bond with them much more than other pet dogs. I entered my Brittany Spaniel in hunting competitions (no kill only) and I before that I didn't think we could bond any closer than we already were but that really cemented it.
And of course hunting is how man and dog first got together to begin with, so it makes sense.
