The legal position in the UK is that letters are the property of the recipient, however the content is subject to copyright, however legal precedent leans towards the recipient being able to publish them as he/she desires, re the case of Paul Burrell publishing Diana's letters. In the case of their contents being published without the sender being named, that's perfectly legal, in any case can anyone copyright 'wanna cam'.

I also got the long one that Jenny got but it was quite a while ago I got it so seems that they regularly send that one out and that one's rather more unpleasant, that someone out there is trying to emotionally blackmail people into talking to them. |
