Of course not! I don't smoke and drink (once in a few months a bit beer). Don't like alcohol much.

You're not a freak for not partaking in those things. Abstinent, maybe, but is that such a bad thing? Hell, you drink more than I do -- I've never even tried alcohol. Or cigarettes/pot/drugs. Or coffee. No interest in any of the above.

One advantage is that we get to watch and remember people we're with say/do amazing things while under the influence.

I recall one of my smoker friends, during a discussion with several other people of how nasty is the habit, took a deep drag of her butt, exhaled, and pronounced it as being "natural." This from a woman who is often proclaiming the dangers of "processed" foods and how it's so much better to "eat from the garden." I suppose she does need to pay more attention to that, to counteract the damage she's inflicting on herself.

Haha yeah smoking does make some otherwise intelligent people seem ridiculously stupid. They bury their heads in the sand and will use any ridiculous excuse to explain why they're doing what they're doing. Smoking tobacco is about as natural as putting your lips over a car exhaust and inhaling the fumes from that.

I don't smoke, never done drugs, and rarely drink (though oddly if I do, I go for the spirit based drinks like vodka as I can't stand the taste of beer, and wine gives me an instant headache, but with vodka I'm fine)

Im America, people look at you funny if you don't drink--or they try to get you to be designated driver. I have a couple of alcoholic beverages a year at most. I didn't drink growing up nor through college. I think the pressure to drink and smoke (and even use rec drugs like meth) is greater in the gay community. My only big vice is sex. Ilearned early on that when you're at a party and evryone else is drunk and you're sober everyone else is sooo easy :-P But seriously, a large number of the gays I've encountered cannot understand how I have survived not going out to the bars and drinking and so forth. Apparently (and sadly) you need to if you are going to be trendy, sociable and gay.

good for you guy...try to keep it that way...freak....hell know i admire you for your constitution...but pls do not think of indulging in a bit of adlult pleasure's as a failing...you may expierment with moderation and not feel ashamed or guilty...good luck with your stance...

I'm really a freak, then. I never smoked or took drugs. I rarely drank in my life. I am currently celibate and am not materialistic.

No, me neither, i don't and never do drugs, don't have alcohol anymore for the last 3 years, strangest thing is alot of peeps have a problem with me not drinking, anyway that is their issue not mine.
