Re your statement in bold - I think you have me confused with someone else as this is not a point that I made. I am not sure what you mean about the site. I personally don't think it attracts any prejudice myself but perhaps you could elaborate on your statement if you do. To elaborate on my own point, my son is mixed race too (like Thisspace4rent) and he isn't treated any differently to anyone else. Black people accept him and white people accept him primarily because he accepts himself. Given the prevalence of mixed race people in this country and general acceptance of mixed relationships, I find it hard to believe that in a metropolis like London, anyone would be made to feel 'exotic' due to being black-white mixed race. That is a common mix (not belittling you, of course!). If you were - say - Asian/black or Eskimo-black - I could understand unusual reactions. Not black-white, no matter how good looking you are. Perhaps this is about your perceptions rather than what is actually happening?
I note that you made some statements about "fitting in". I may be wrong abut this (and please forgive me if I offend you), but I frequently hear similar things from mixed race people who are a) estranged from a parent due to the choices they make in life; b) not clued in about the culture of one of their parents and/or who c) feel they have to choose to be one race or another rather than what they are, which is both.
Bottom line? You are a human being like everyone else. So why not just "be"?
